Getting into the Calorie Burn Zone

There are 2 simple laws when it comes to burning calories.

The first one is, you have to consume less that you burn if you want to lose weight.

The second one is - your metabolism is like a high precision piece of equipment. It has to be maintained and tuned just right to deliver high performance results. But don't let that scare you. It's not that hard.

If you're sitting on your butt watching TV and eating potato chips - you're metabolism is running on slow.

So then, you start cutting out foods and you think you'll lose weight. A lot of people eat most of their food in the evening - when your body doesn't need the fuel anymore. Your metabolism is still running on slow. Ironically, the less you eat - the less you burn.

So then, maybe you try getting some exercise. Some people go nuts and totally overdo it on exercise for a little while at least. But they give up because it doesn't work. You're still not losing much weight. Why?

If you're still eating the bulk of your food in the evening - it's not going to be burned efficiently. It's kind of like driving your car until it's bone dry and then overfilling your gas tank to make up for it.

But, if you spread your eating out all day - then you'll start burning it when you eat it. It starts happening pretty quickly too. Start your day off eating, and you'll start seeing a difference.

And if part of what you're eating is your 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables, it's like filling the tank with premium. Don't look at me like that - it really is. It will run cleaner.

Stuff won't be accumulating in your arteries. Your organs will toss out fats and toxins. Cells will be protected from attack so cancers won't even start. You'll feel great, and have a lot more energy than you do now. When everything starts working the way it's supposed to - it's a beautiful thing. You gotta try it. And then you'll have plenty of energy for exercise. Just 30 minutes a day of some sort of physical activity and you'll be one lean-mean calorie burning machine!
